About Nebula Networks
Nebula Networks is a local internet service provider founded in 2022 to fill a gap in our community. Rural areas around Chilliwack, Rosedale, and Agassiz were being left behind; existing providers offered slow speeds, spotty coverage, or no service at all. We set out to change that by delivering fast, reliable internet built specifically for rural homes and businesses in the Fraser Valley. We’re now expanding to Sumas Prairie in Abbotsford, with service coming soon. We’re a fixed wireless provider, which means we deliver internet over the air from tower sites to a small antenna at your home or business. It’s how we reach properties that fibre and cable never will; no waiting years for someone to trench a line down your road. And because we live and work here, when something goes wrong, you’re talking to the people who actually run the network, not a call centre four provinces away. Derek has lived in Rosedale his entire life and started working with computers at a young age. He’s spent his career in the technology sector and serves as a volunteer firefighter in his community. In his spare time, you’ll find him dirt biking, hiking, or snowboarding on the mountain.
